<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the power consumption of a storage system as a copy destination of remote copy. <P>SOLUTION: A second storage system is provided with a restore control part for controlling restore processing for writing data elements in a journal stored in a journal storage area in a secondary logical volume and a storage device control part for controlling a storage device in the second storage system. The restore control part is provided with a function of stopping restore processing. A first value indicating the use circumstances of a journal storage area in the second storage system is acquired, and the restore control part stops the restore processing according to the acquired first value, and the storage device control part executes the power saving of the storage device associated with the secondary logical volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
