<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a highly accurate parking support by recognizing a parking frame border with high accuracy even when a vehicle comes to the inside of the parking frame boarder. <P>SOLUTION: This parking support device for supporting parking includes: a target value determination means determining a target value related to a target moving locus; a control means controlling a predetermined on-vehicle device for providing the target value; a lateral image pick up means taking the lateral image of the vehicle; and a parking frame boarder recognizing means recognizing the image of the parking frame boarder from the image picked up by the lateral image pick up means.
