PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety switch device having a transmission mechanism to transmit the turning of an inner handle member to an outer handle member so that the inner handle member may only pull out an actuator from a switch body and capable of improving durability of the transmission mechanism. SOLUTION: Since a projection strip 623 provided on an inner turning axis 23b is engaged with a protrusion 613 installed on an outer turning axis only when the inner handle member is turned to an opening position ULK, and the turning of the inner turning axis 23b is transmitted to the outer turning axis a and the outer handle member 22a is moved to the opening position ULK, thereby, the inner handle member can only pull out the actuator 3 from the switch body. Furthermore, since the turning of one handle member is transmitted to the other handle member by engagement of the projection strip 623 with the protrusion 613, possibility of wear due to friction force is eliminated compared with the conventional structure with such a possibility of wear due to friction, durability of the transmission mechanism 6 can be improved.
