PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a SAN management agent to provide a SAN manager with HBA information on all HBA, even if a job server machine connected to some storage devices through the SAN has two or more HBA(s) manufactured by different manufacturers. SOLUTION: While an HBA information acquisition module 36 loads two or more common libraries 33 in order (Steps S103, S107), the common libraries 33 being loaded acquir the HBA information through all proper libraries 32. Only the HBA information including a model name in association with an identification number of the common libraries 33 being loaded in a definition table 35 in some acquired HBA information (Steps S104-S106, S108) is transferred to the SAN manager.
