PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and an image processing program, capable of simplifying customization or extension of a function. SOLUTION: The apparatus has an input filter for controlling an input process of image data, an output filter for controlling an output process of the image data to be outputted, and a modification filter for controlling a modification process of the image data by being connected between the input filter and the output filter via a pipe, wherein the modification filter is connected to the pipe which is at a latter stage of the input filter when output setting of the image data to be output is changed.
