PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee stable starting of a system by shortening time required until the available state of functions of high operating frequency after a power supply is turned on, and coping with the unprepared disconnection of power. SOLUTION: This digital composite machine composed to divide a program for every function comprises a preferential function storage means for storing preferential functions started at the start of power; a preferential function storage information holding means for holding information for managing the kinds of preferential functions stored in the preferential function storage means; and a determining means for determining a program storage state of the preferential function storage means. When the stored program of the preferential function storage means is determined to be invalid by the determined result of the determining means after the start of power, all function programs are loaded from a general-purpose nonvolatile storage means.
