PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid washing auxiliary composition used together with a detergent composition that exhibits excellent bacteria-removing effects and antibacterial effects, can suppress color changes of fibers and exhibits good preservation stability. SOLUTION: The liquid washing auxiliary composition comprises a water-soluble silver salt (a), at least one amino acid (b) selected between histidine and alginin and water, and is characterized by having a molar ratio, (b)/(a), of the amino acid (b) to the silver ion in the water-soluble silver salt (a) of 5-50, and a pH of 5-11.
