PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain capable of stably restricting bending degree by a simple structure in the chain used for application of a sling for hanging up an article to be conveyed; and a continuous conveying device using it. SOLUTION: In the chain in which a plurality of plate members are turnably connected, a fixing member sliding in an axial direction of the plate member is arranged at an outer side or an inner side at a lateral cross section of the plate member. In the chain and the continuous conveying device using it, when the fixing member is slid in one direction to fix the plate members to each other, it is not bent in a fixed range or more.
