PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package which can increase a cushioning performance while having a simple constitution and realizing the putting in/taking out of an article to be packaged from the top, and at the same time, prevents the article to be packaged from being damaged by rubbing. SOLUTION: With a square bottom plate section 12, a first side plate section 21 and a second side plate section 22 are connected, and with both side edges of the side plate section 22, a third side plate section 23 and a fourth side late section 24 are connected. Flaps 25 to 28 which close the upper end opening of a square cylinder which is formed by connecting respective side plate sections 21 to 24 are connected with the upper edges of respective side plate sections. An internal side plate section 13 is connected with the bottom plate section 12, and a supporting plate section 15 which is folded onto the bottom plate section 12 is connected with one side edge of the side plate section 13. A supporting hole in which a sensor (article to be packaged) 2 is fitted, an incision which reaches the hole, and a pressing area 15a which can open/close the supporting hole by being connected with the upper side of the supporting hole are installed on the supporting plate section 15. A cushioning plate section 20 having an upper area 20b which is pinched by the side plate sections 21 and 22 while including a cushioning protuberance section 21b1 which is shaped by the incision is connected with the distal end edge of the supporting plate section 15. The protuberance section 21b1 is made to protrude to the side plate section 22 side, and the plate section 20 is folded in a manner to face the side plate section 13, and is arranged on the bottom plate section 12.
