PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for a construction vehicle, capable of avoiding early separation failure also with respect to input of high horse power and ensuring durability of a bead portion. SOLUTION: The diameter of a steel code arranged in a wire chafer 6 is set to 1.5 to 2.0 mm, and also the volumetric ratio of the steel code in the whole wire chafer 6 is set to 0.25 to 0.45.
