The above-mentioned invention comprises a reflection modulation device (3), the output signal of which determines the reflection properties of a sensor antenna (4) in such a manner that the measured value of the potential difference (1) can be accessed by the sensor antenna (4) along a radio link (6), by means of an interrogation device (5) that emits and receives high-frequency signals. The invention is characterised in that a modulation generation device (2) is connected upstream of the reflection modulation device (3), said modulation generation device (2) converting the potential difference into an alternating current signal that can be remotely accessed by the interrogation device (5), without using additional energy of the current sensor (S), in particular when an electrical potential (1) remains temporally unchanged. The invention is also suitable for detecting luminous intensities, rotational speeds and rotational angles.
