<p>An encoding and decoding method for audio transient signal includes: processing for time-domain sampling points of input frames, i.e. adding the processing of transient signal (2), before the transformation of the transient signal. The processing of the transient signal is located in any position before time-frequency transformation (3) at an encoder end and in any position after frequency-time transformation at corresponding decoder end.</p>
