<p>This invention provides a poultice, which can prevent both runover of a medicated layer and separation from a subject for which the poultice is applied, and a process for producing the poultice. A poultice (10) comprises a support (20) and a medicated layer (30) provided on the support (20) and formed of a medicine. The medicated layer (30) comprises edge parts (31) which are a part extended from the outer periphery inward by not more than 5 mm, and a central part (33) held between the edge parts (31). The mass of the medicine per unit area of the whole medicated layer (30) is not more than 0.10 g/cm<SUP>2</SUP>, and the mass of the medicineper unit area in the edge parts (31) is not less than 70% of the mass of the medicine per unit area in the central part (33).</p> |
