A drum type washing machine is provided to improve efficiency of space utilization since the user can select the opening and shutting direction of the door. A drum type washing machine includes a front frame(11) having an opening(12) to put in laundry, a door(14) opening and closing the opening, a track(21) formed on the front frame along the circumference of the opening, a rotating member(20) provided on the track, a rail(22) provided on the track to make the rotating member rotate smoothly, and a rail guide(23) provided on the rotating member and rotating along the rail. The front frame comprises a plurality of fixing holes(26) formed along the track. The rotating member comprises a door fastening part(24) for fastening the door to rotate along with the rotating member, a connection hole(27) coupled with the fixing holes, and a fixing pin(28) binding the fixing hole and connection hole. |
