A magnetic gripping apparatus using magnetic force is provided in which operates a safety switch simultaneously when converting pole, machining five surfaces in one time without generating machining error due to heat. A magnetic gripping apparatus comprises a housing member(10) of which top part is open and has a space part inside; a permanent magnet(20) in which a pole array is arranged to the horizontal axis direction and made of Nd-Fe system in which the eddy current loss is less; an alico magnet(40) in which the pole array is arranged toward a vertical axis direction; a coil(50) wound on an outer circumference of the alico magnet; a pole member(30) connecting the magnetic path; an epoxy layer(60) preventing the foreign material from entering into an insulation and a housing; and a control part(70) equipped with a safety switch(71) in which two buttons for adjusting ON/OFF of power is equipped.
