<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of attaining efficient replenishment of paper by detachably attaching a paper feed cassette having different capacity according to frequency of usage. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device for forming the image on a recording medium is provided with a plurality of pairs of rail parts provided on a box body of the image forming device; a first cassette part detachably attached to the rail part and storing the recording medium; a second cassette part detachably attached to the rail part and storing an amount of the recording medium different from the first cassette part; a plurality of paper feed unit parts detachably attached to the first and second cassette parts so as to be adjacent to these and acquiring the recording medium; and a first detection sensor provided on the rail part and detecting that the first cassette part, the second cassette part and the paper feed unit part are attached. In the image forming device, it is provided on the first cassette part and the second cassette part, and it displays that the cassette does not exist when it is not detected that the cassette is attached by the first detection sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
