PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition exhibiting excellent oxidation stability without adding an antioxidant and to provide a method for producing the gasoline composition. SOLUTION: The gasoline composition has≤10 mass ppm sulfur content, <0.1 vol.% diene compound content, 10.0-25.5 vol.% olefin compound content,≤2.5 vol.% cycloolefin compound content,≥2.4 vol ratio of a 9C aromatic to a cycloolefin compound,≥600 min oxidation stability (induction period measured according to JIS K2287) and≤200 mg/100 mL latent gum content.
