PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide whether or not other sound data mixed with an audio stream #1 is included in stream data to be reproduced. SOLUTION: A flag indicating whether or not sound data mixed with an audio stream #1 is included in data referred by the PlayList () and a flag indicating whether or not audio stream #2 mixed with the audio stream #1 is included are recorded in a PlayList () included in a PlayList file. A control unit of a reproducing apparatus refers to a flag recorded in the PlayList, and can decide whether or not audio data which can be played back itself that is other sound data mixed with the audio stream #1 is included in the stream, and the control unit.
