PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet fixing device which enables a reduction in wasteful replacement of an ultraviolet light source and prolongation of the usable time of the light source used in the ultraviolet fixing device. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet fixing device 40 has an ultraviolet irradiation means 41 for irradiating a recording medium P printed in a printing part 3 by using ultraviolet curable ink with ultraviolet rays radiated from the light sources 42 in a plurality, so as to fix the ink on the recording medium P, and a fixing conveying means 50 for conveying the recording medium. In the device 40, the light sources 42 are divided into a plurality of light source groups 42A and 42B, while the device has a light source control means 120 which stores a cumulative irradiation time of the ultraviolet rays for each of these divided light source groups and controls the life of the light source for each of these groups.
