PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical radiography apparatus used for panoramic imaging and CT imaging sufficiently utilizing characteristics of an electrical imaging means, and an X-ray detector used therefor. SOLUTION: The medical radiography apparatus includes a support body 3b for a rotating member 6, the rotating member 6 rotatably supported by the support body 3b, and an X-ray detecting part 10 set on another position of the rotating member 6 so as to face the X-ray generator. The apparatus can execute X-ray imaging in X-ray imaging modes including at least a panoramic imaging mode and a CT imaging mode. The X-ray detecting part 10 includes one board 14 on which two electrical imaging means 14a, 14b in different shapes are formed. One of the two kinds of electrical imaging means is formed in an elongated shape for panoramic imaging and the other in a plane shape spread in two-dimensional directions for CT imaging.
