PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an absorbent body capable of efficiently manufacturing an absorbent body having a liquid absorbent surface with superior liquid permeability and suction property. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is characterized in classifying superabsorbent polymers into large grain-size particles 4A having a grain size larger than the pore size of a first core wrap sheet 5A, and a small grain-size particles 4B having the grain size smaller than the pore size, spraying the large grain-size particles 4A to the first core wrap sheet 5A, moving the first core wrap sheet 5A to a part of a fiber integration drum 2 covered with a duct 3, and accumulating fiber materials 4C and the small grain-size particles 4B on the sheet 5A at the concerned part by sucking.
