PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled apparatus preventing the dirtying of the periphery of an apparatus body and hands of a user with remaining dust. SOLUTION: This self-propelled apparatus includes moving means 102, control means 101 for controlling the traveling of the apparatus body 100, a battery 104 for supplying power, cleaning means 103 for cleaning a traveling space by the movement of the apparatus body, and automatic cleaning means 105 automatically cleaning the inside of the apparatus body 100 and dirty parts after the cleaning. This constitution can automatically clean the inside of the apparatus body 100 and the dirty parts after the cleaning so as to prevent the dirtying of the periphery and the user's hands with the remaining dust.
