PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing uniform nanofibers in high productivity by a simple constitution, and to provide an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: The method for producing the nanofibers f consisting of a macromolecular substance includes the following step: Into a cylindrical vessel 1 as an electrically conductive revolving vessel with multiple nozzles 3, a polymer solution 11 with the macromolecular substance dissolved in a solvent is fed. The cylindrical vessel 1 is then revolved, and the polymer solution ejected through the nozzles 3 is subjected to electric field to effect drawing by centrifugal force and electrostatic explosion concomitant with solvent evaporation. In the step, when the amount of the polymer solution 11 in the cylindrical vessel 1 reaches predetermined level, such an amount of the polymer solution 11 as to exceed the predetermined level is ejected from the cylindrical vessel 1 and retrieved, and then fed into the cylindrical vessel 1 again. Subsequently, the polymer solution 11 in the cylindrical vessel 1 is subjected to a nearly constant centrifugal force, thus producing the objective uniform nanofibers f by a simple constitution.
