<p>Production of a ceramic functional element (114) for the pollutant reduction of exhaust gases, comprising a ceramic carrier (130) and a ceramic functional coating (110), comprises wet-chemically coating the ceramic carrier with an organic material, preferably a polymer (140); applying a ceramic functional particle coating on the organically coated carrier in a wet-chemical step; and thermally calcining the coated carrier, where the organic material is at least partly removed and a solution, a dispersion and/or an emulsion of the organic material are used during the organic coating. Production of a ceramic functional element (114) for the pollutant reduction of exhaust gases, comprising a ceramic carrier (130) and a ceramic functional coating (110), comprises wet-chemically coating the ceramic carrier with an organic material, preferably a polymer (140); applying a ceramic functional particle coating on the organically coated carrier in a wet-chemical step; and thermally calcining the coated carrier, where the organic material is at least partly removed and a solution, a dispersion and/or an emulsion of the organic material are used during the organic coating, which exhibits an additive for improving the wetting of the ceramic carrier.</p> |
