<p>An illuminating device which is thin and light, and of which brightness is kept constant and efficiency in the use of light can be improved. A back light unit (10,60,70) includes a light source (2, 71) composed of a plurality of light emitting diodes (21, 72) mounted on a mounting surface (1a) of a board (1), a diffusing plate (41) which has a light guide surface (41a) that faces the mounting surface (1a) of the board (1) at the predetermined distance and diffuses the light emitted from the plurality of light emitting diodes (21, 72), and a reflection sheet (3) that is pasted on the mounting surface (1a) of the board (1). A light emitting direction of the plurality of light emitting diodes (21, 72) is parallel to the light guide surface (41a) of the diffusing plate (41).</p> |
