<p>A semiconductor device comprises function reconstruction cells each having a storage circuit and a control circuit to realize a variable logic function. The function reconstruction cells autonomously control by themselves the read addresses of the storage circuits storing truth-value data. For example, the control circuits receive feedback of information synchronously read out of the data fields and control fields of the storage circuits and use feedback received information or other information from the data fields as address information for controlling the next synchronous read of the data fields and control fields according to the feedback received information from the control fields. Since the function reconstruction cells can autonomously control the read of the storage circuits by themselves, the storage circuits realizing the variable logic function can be handled as circuits equivalent to logic circuits. Flexibility of the realizable logic construction and the logic scale can be achieved, and a variable logic function adaptable to a large logic scale can be realized with a small chip occupied area.</p> |
