Coating apparatus, for producing evenly foamed, simultaneously applied foams over a reaction surface, comprises a mixing head (9), a distribution head (10) and at least three outlet lines (12), applied to the mixing head and fixed transversely to the outflow direction and fixed to a rigid frame (13). Independent claims are included for: (1) apparatus for producing sandwich composite elements, comprising (in series) at least two supply devices for upper and lower covering layers, a revolving upper belt for guiding the upper covering layer, a revolving lower belt for guiding the lower covering layer onto coating apparatus as described above (for application of a foamed core layer), a shaping zone and a device for cutting to length; and (2) a method for producing sandwich composite elements using the apparatus, in which one or both of the components blended together in the mixing head has been previously mixed with inert gas or is mixed with inert gas (specifically air, carbon dioxide or noble gas) in the mixing head itself. |
