FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: catalytic composition for olefin polymerisation includes catalytic compound selected out of group including 4th group metal complexes with one or more ligand pi-linked to transition metal, and metal complexes of formula, , where R1 is selected out of group including alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, cycloheteroalkyl, aryl, and inertly substituted derivatives of the described groups, containing 1 to 30 atoms beside hydrogen, T is bivalent bridge group including 1 to 20 atoms beside hydrogen, R2 is C6-20heteroaryl group including Lewis base functionality, particularly pyridine-2-yl- or substituted pyridine-2-yl-group, M is 4th group metal, Xe is anion, neutral or dianion ligand group, x is a number from 0 to 5 indicating number of Xe groups, links, optional links and electron donor connections are indicated by lines, dotted lines and arrows respectively; activation agent for transformation of the claimed catalytic compound into active catalyst for additive polymerisation, optional carrier, optional liquid dissolvent and metal hydrocarboxylate additive salt of formula: , where Re is hydrogen, halogen or C1-6 alkyl.
