FIELD: armament. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed grenade launcher comprises a launching tube with a grenade, elastic end face covers of nuzzle and breach ends, a trigger mechanism and a sighting device made up of a front sight and a sighting frame. The live grenade incorporates a pyrotechnic moderator with a preset combustion time. The said launching tube is furnished with an additional launching tube with a smaller-caliber simulator grenade, the additional tube being rigidly attached to the aforesaid main launching tube by means of fasteners arranged on the casings and couplings of both aforesaid tubes, the axes of inner channels of both tubes being aligned as required. On launching the simulator grenade, the latter provokes the operation of active protection. Now, in 0.2 to 0.2 s, the live grenade reached its target. Firing, successively, the grenade simulator and the live grenade increase the probability of striking a tank equipped with an active protection system. ^ EFFECT: lower grenade launcher production costs. ^ 5 dwg |
