<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily manufacturing an anode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having lithium occluded in an anode active material before use of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the anode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery made by having lithium occluded in an anode active material capable of occluding and releasing lithium.
