<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a defect generated when a transfer substrate is peeled when a resin layer between information recording layers of a multilayer information recording medium is formed. <P>SOLUTION: The multilayer information recording medium has a substrate having an inner circumference and an outer circumference. The substrate is provided with three or more information recording layers and resin layers each arranged between the information recording layers. In at least one combination of the adjacent two resin layers, the positions of the end portions of the resin layers on the inner circumference side are different from each other.
