<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder capable of attaining a plurality of belt cleaning operations with one cleaning mechanism and capable of improving the quality of image recording and improving productivity of the image recording. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder includes a conveying belt conveying a recording sheet, an inkjet recording head carrying out the image recording discharging inks to a recording sheet conveyed by the conveying belt, a carriage on which the inkjet recording head and a reflective sensor are mounted, and a color shift correcting means correcting the color shift of the image recording by recording a pattern image on the conveying belt and reading the pattern image using the reflective sensor, and is characterized by including a belt cleaning means cleaning the pattern image on the conveying belt recorded when carrying out the color shift correcting, and a belt cleaning control means controlling the belt cleaning means selecting a correcting mode for carrying out the belt cleaning according to the condition from a plurality of control modes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
