<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print data processing method based on very convenient non-contact authentication. <P>SOLUTION: Each of computers 10 (3, 6, 8) and printers 30 (4, 7) is provided with a non-contact authentication device reading a non-contact authentication code. A mobile communication apparatus 50 is provided with a non-contact communication device transmitting the non-contact authentication code. Print data information (a file name and the like) and authentication data read without contact from a mobile communication apparatus 50 carried by a user of the computer 10 are added to print data generated by the computer 10 to be transmitted to a desired printer 30 (or printers). The printer 30, with which the mobile communication apparatus 50 is brought into contact, reads the non-contact authentication code and transmits the print data information of the print data, to which the corresponding authentication data are added, to the mobile communication apparatus 50.
