<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of suppressing infiltration of dust, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: When the amount of exhaust air exhausted to the outside of a housing 10 by an exhaust fan 50 exceeds the total amount of suction air taken into the housing 10 by a first suction fan 40 and a second suction fan 60, a control part increases the rotational speed of the second suction fan 60 so as to increase the amount of suction air.
