PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor constituted so as to easily remove a ghost from an original image. SOLUTION: The image processor 1610 applies image processing to the original image including ghost image components acquired by using an image pickup optical system 1601. The processor has: a light source direction estimation means (S602) for estimating information regarding the direction of a ghost light source using the original image; a ghost information acquisition means (S604) for acquiring information regarding the ghost image components corresponding to the information regarding the direction of the ghost light source and information regarding the image pickup optical system in acquisition of the original image from reference data stored in a storage means 1609; simulation means (S605, S608) for generating a simulation image of the ghost image components based on the information regarding the ghost image components; and a subtraction means (S609) for subtracting the simulation image from the original image.
