PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator in which a generating mechanism is simplified and mechanical strength is enhanced. SOLUTION: A metal plate having a partially-formed cutout or a partially-formed projected part and a piezoelectric element formed of a piezoelectric plate joined to the metal plate are provided adjacently. The cutout or the projected part is different in position in the piezoelectric elements provided adjacently and a laminated piezoelectric material is formed by laminating the piezoelectric elements with the cutout or the projected part located almost in the same position in every other piezoelectric element. The generator is constituted of the laminated piezoelectric material, a resin material for sealing the laminated piezoelectric material by exposing a part of the metal plate at the position of the cutout or the projected part of the piezoelectric element, and a connecting terminal for electrically connecting metal plates exposed from the resin.
