PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently obtaining, without requiring complicated input, desired search results through a plurality of searches. SOLUTION: The database system stores first and second relevant information each comprising a plurality of information each indicating a combination of a plurality of elements belonging to a plurality of items, with one or more of the elements belonging to each of the plurality of items. Next, in response to the input of a first search rule indicating one or more elements, a first partial relevant information corresponding to the first search rule is obtained from the first relevant information, and a first list is displayed based on the first partial relevant information. Further, in response to the input of a second search rule indicating one or more elements contained in the first list, a second partial relevant information corresponding to the second search rule is obtained from the second relevant information, and a second list is displayed based on information including the second partial relevant information.
