PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a configuration with less harmonic current in a triac controlled electric power device. SOLUTION: Loads of total rated power consumption P watts are configured by n-2 number of loads in which each of n number of loads is rated power consumption of P/2k (k=1, 2, to n-2) watts and two loads of P/2n-1 watts, wherein n-1 number of loads of rated power consumption P/2k (k=1, 2, to n-1) watts among the loads are subjected to on-off control about supply power at a zero-cross point where AC voltage becomes zero by triacs, while one of the loads of rated power consumption P/2n is subjected to phase control about the supply power by the triacs. According to the configuration, generation of the harmonic current can be suppressed by reducing the power for performing the phase control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
