PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion foaming laminated sheet having continuous cells for an automobile trim material which comprises a modified polyphenylene ether resin and has sound absorption properties and also is reduced in an amount of VOC (especially volatile toluene). SOLUTION: In the extrusion foaming laminated sheet having continuous cells which is formed by laminating both surfaces of a continuous cell-bearing extrusion foaming sheet (1) consisting of a modified polyphenylene ether with non-foamed layers (2), the continuous cell-bearing extrusion foaming sheet before the lamination with the non-foamed layers is provided with through-holes to the sheet thickness direction for the air to be sent through the through-holes with a pressure gradient of 0.2-1.0 kPa/m to the sheet thickness direction, or provided with warming. Thereafter the both surfaces of the continuous cell-bearing extrusion foaming sheet (1) are laminated with the non-foamed layers (2) and holes are provided so as to reach the inside of the extrusion foaming sheet (1) from either surface side of the non-foamed layers (2). By using the extrusion foaming laminated sheet (3) obtained as above the sound absorption properties can be obtained and the reduction of VOC (especially the amount of volatile toluene) can be achieved.
