PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting an arm rest upper part on a door trim for a vehicle enabling the easiness of positioning of the arm rest upper part mounted on an arm rest body formed integrally with the door trim for the vehicle and the improvement of the mounting rigidity and the aesthetic appearance of the mating part. SOLUTION: A reinforcement rib 52 extending in the direction of crossing the edge part 42e of an opening 60 in which a pull handle 6 of the armrest upper part is inserted is vertically formed on the rear surface of the pull handle 6, a locking part 42a is formed on the front surface of the armrest body 42, and a claw part 53 projects from the rear surface of an armrest upper edge part 51b overlapped with the front surface side. With the claw part 53 engaged with the locking part 42a, the reinforcement rib 52 is brought into contact with the edge part 42e, and the edge part 42e is held by the claw part 53 and the reinforcement rib 52.
