WATER-IN-OIL TYPE EMULSION COMPOSITION

It is intended to provide a water-in-oil type emulsion composition which is a water-in-oil type emulsion having a high moisturizing effect on the skin and exerting a favorable performance as a massage cream while being capable of sustaining a high emulsion stability in the case of containing a perfume. A water-in-oil type emulsion characterized by comprising the following components (A), (B), (C) and (D) and satisfying the following requirements (1) and (2): components: (A) glycerol monooleate, (B) a surfactant having a branched chain in an alkyl group, (C) an aqueous component, (D) an oily component, and (E) a perfume component; requirements: (1) the sum of the amount of the glycerol monooleate as the component (A) and the amount of the surfactant having a branched chain in an alkyl group as the component (B) being 5% by mass or more but less than 10% by mass based on the whole composition, and (2) the amount of the perfume as the component (E) being 0.3% by mass or more based on the whole composition.
