The invention relates to a coin storage and transport device in the form of a small case having a lower flat base and an upper flat base which are joined at the ends by side walls and internally by inner walls forming cells which are each used to house at least one coin inside the case. The side walls are provided with multiple grooves sized to match different legal tender coins, which grooves are used to insert coins into, and remove coins from, each of the cells. Moreover, the upper base is provided with semi-circular openings that are aligned with the aforementioned grooves in the side walls and said openings are used to slide the coins out from each cell manually. Each of the cells contains a curved flexible tab which is attached to the inner face of the lower base and the inner face of each cell and extends in the direction of each of the grooves. The curve of the tab allows coins to be inserted into the device, while the convex face thereof presses each coin against the upper base, securing same and thereby allowing coins to be stored in each of the cells.
