<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device at a low cost and with high quality capable of producing a vivid color and improving the illuminance of a light source, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The illuminating device K1 has a light-emitting diode 124 mounted on a circuit board 123 for serving as a light source. The light-emitting diodes 124 are composed of red, blue and green diodes 124r, 124b and 124g. The red, blue and green diodes 124r, 124b and 124g constituting one unit are disposed linearly and repeatedly in groups on the same circuit board 123, and electrically connected to emit colors of the red, blue and green diodes 124r, 124b and 124g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
