<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device with a wire housing box in which falling of a lid is prevented and wire connection work of a lead wire can be made simply, and to provide a lighting apparatus with this discharge lamp lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device 1 includes a lighting device body 2, a case body 3 which is formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape having an opening 13 and in which a wire housing part 15 is installed inside the opening 13 and a device housing part 14 housing the lighting device body 2 is installed on the bottom part 3c side, respectively, and a case lid 4 which is installed capable of opening and closing by a rotation axle provided at the periphery of the opening 13 side of the case body 3 and closes the opening 13 of the case body 3 so as to house external wires 30, 32 and lead wires 19, 20 in the wire housing part 15 in the state that the external wires 30, 32 inserted into holes 26, 27 and the lead wires 19, 20 led out from the lighting device body 2 are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
