JOINED OPTICAL ELEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the center thickness of a joined optical element with high precision.

SOLUTION: A second optical element 6 is joined to a first optical element 4 by forming the second optical element 6 having a diameter larger than that of the first optical element 4 by pressing a second optical element base material 5 to the first optical element 4 under such a condition that at least one portion in the pressing direction of the second optical element base material 5 is not constrained in the direction orthogonal to the pressing direction.
