<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve viewing angle characteristics by varying voltages applied on liquid crystal devices. <P>SOLUTION: One embodiment of the present invention is a liquid crystal display device having three or more liquid crystal devices in one pixel, with a voltage applied to each liquid crystal device being different from others. A device that divides an applied voltage is disposed in order to vary voltages to be applied to the respective liquid crystal devices.
