PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network user authentication method for securing high security by a much simple procedure without having any troublesomeness to carry any special card or equipment. SOLUTION: A work station 120 transmits a user name to an authentication server 110, and requests the authentication server 110 to authenticate a user, and the authentication server 110 calls a mobile phone 130 corresponding to the user name, and requests the mobile phone 130 to transmit random numbers, password, and location information, and when confirming that the password received from the mobile phone 130 is unique to the user name, and that random numbers received from the work station 120 are matched with the random numbers received from the mobile phone 130, and that the mobile phone 130 is located within a predetermined region including the location of the work station 120 based on the location information received from the mobile phone 130, the authentication server 110 authenticates access from the user to the work station 120.
