MEDICINE COMPRISING COMBINATION OF PPAR ALPHA/GAMMA DUAL AGONIST AND DIABETES TREATING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new medicine comprising a combination of PPARα/γdual agonist and a diabetes treating agent based on the finding that a medicinal agent having an excellent effect compared with the single administration of PPARα/γdual agonist is produced by the combination of the agonist and a diabetes treating agent. SOLUTION: The administration of a medicine composed of a combination of PPARα/γdual agonist and a dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitor acting as a diabetes treating agent can keep the plasma glucose concentration after sugar tolerance test at a low level and decrease the necessary amount of insulin after sugar tolerance test.
