<p>A liquefied gas fuel supply system and a method for driving a high-pressure pump in the liquefied gas fuel supply system in which plunger seizing is reduced by driving the high-pressure pump while the high-pressure pump is certainly filled with a liquefied gas fuel. The liquefied gas fuel supply system feeds the liquefied gas fuel in a storage tank into the high-pressure pump by a feed pump, highly pressurizes and feeds the liquefied gas fuel by the high-pressure pump, and injects the liquefied gas fuel from a fuel injector. The liquefied gas fuel supply system is characterized by comprising a return passage for returning the liquefied gas fuel overflowing from the high-pressure pump to the storage tank, a flow rate detecting means for the liquefied gas fuel passing through the return passage, which is placed in the passage, and a pump driving means for driving the high-pressure pump when the value detected by the flow rate detecting means reaches a predetermined threshold value or more.</p> |
