MULTI FUCTION PERIPHERAL HAVING THE MISSING NOZZLE DETECTION

A multi function peripheral can prevent an imaging defect by including a missing nozzle detection part and the whole volume thereof is reduced since the missing nozzle detection part and the image scanning part share a scan unit. A multi function peripheral(100) comprises an image printing part(110) including an array ink-jet head(115) in which a plurality of nozzles are formed; an image scanning part(120) including a scan unit(124) provided on a document scan path of transferring a document and scanning the document; and a missing nozzle detection part(130) which has a missing nozzle scan path connecting a printing path(S1), transfers the paper in which a test image is printed by the array ink-jet head to the document scan path through the missing nozzle scan path the document scan path and scans the test image by using the scan unit. The image scanning part and missing nozzle detection part share the scan unit.
